Unearthed my new toy from the grave..
Just thought I would show a couple pics of my new toy. Been sitting since the early 80's and was kind of a pain to get it on trailer, but the unique color will make it worth putting time into I think. Thanks to Shane (HevyChevy67) for giving me a great deal and breaking his back putting it on the trailer..lol

Looks real good. My truck had been sitting 18 years, and then it got restored in the 80's I believe. It looks great now. You got a jewel. How's the inside?

Re: Unearthed my new toy from the grave..
I had one 10 years ago and people really hated the color, just like Special-K said. Now when we stopped for gas I had all kinds of compliments on it. The interior is black and had lots of mice droppings in it, so I took the wand at the car wash to it and the droppings are no more. Will need a seat redo but the rest of it looks pretty good, and is all there including the steering column. No motor or trans but I just bought another truck with a good 350 to use. Suspension shot, no brakes, needs cab corners, rockers, and tailgate for sure. Color is factory, and will be repainted the same shade. Plans so far are for a 2-4 drop, tilt, tach, shoulder belts, tinted glass, bright trim around windows, vortec headed 350, either th350 or 700 (not sure which yet), chrome bumpers, aluminum slots, and possibly factory buckets/console. Most of this stuff I already own so it's just a matter of getting to work. Thanks for the interest.

Re: Unearthed my new toy from the grave..
Yeah, it needs alot of repair. Friend that helped pick up the thing is a welder with bodyshop experience but fell on his melon and is still banned from welding until he recovers 100%. If he is allowed to weld again, I am in business..if not, I am going to be broke forever.
