brake trouble
okay was stoping at a stoplight today at the bottom of a hill when all of a sudden boom brake pedel goes from upo high to the floorrun off through a parking lot at 30 mph to keep from hitting anyone anyway my metal brake line blew out where it was joined together with a coupling on the frame rail do i want to try and cut the brake line reflare it and piece it back together or do i need to try to find a whole replace ment brake line?

anyone know what size the brake line is it looks like 1/4 inch but not really sure

you could do the quick repair ..........but that time there might not be a parking lot. The weakest link of the chain breaks first.
Replace all the lines and secure them to the frame every 18 inches or so, so that the lines don't vibrate and stress crack. |
