Chevy GMC NATs
well this weekend was well deserved. went up to Maggie Valley for the truck show on Saturday. the directors of the show did pretty good job for what was all at the show. I received an ausome price on my brand new A/C controll from Tim Christians truck parts. as always, Tim had a cool selection of parts with him (the guy is always backing up his word Guys I cant say enough about how Tim works with people. and gave me a smoking hot deal on what I was looking for). Sunday, slow start getting the day started, which was fine the weather had changed a little (RAIN) but took our time heading home and realy enjoyed the weekend. I also met another board member in the area that Tim had his booth. its always cool to relize how many people use this forum

Re: Chevy GMC NATs
I agree, Tim is a stand up guy. I have heard a lot about his character and after meeting him for the first time Saturday I agree 100 percent. I really enjoyed the show, MV is a much better location, a lot easier to navigate the area. If you didn't come you missed great time. Met several board members and made some great friends.

Re: Chevy GMC NATs
Yeah, I missed tphsmith, woodridge and Bad69Bowtie. I got to meet the rest youn's. I didn't get to hang around for meal time Sat evening. My wife wanted to ride through Cherokee and the Park before dark. Had a pretty good time.
Who was the guy who helped me load my buckets back in my truck? He was wearing an orange shirt. Was he a board member?

Re: Chevy GMC NATs
The show was great. Got to meet Tim and his family as well as a lot of members from the board. You can bet as soon as the notice is posted for next years show I'll getting things in order to go. My son lives about 98 miles south in S.C. so he and my grandson made it up for Sat. to hang out with the old man. They were impressed. Over the years I've been active in car clubs, dirt track racing, drag racing, and even restoring old tractors. The crew that I'm hanging with now at the truck club and sites are shaping my future play time in a positive way. Looking forward to the ride. Thanks for a great weekend.

Thanks, Robb. I knew Bryan, I just wasn't sure who the other feller was and was too dumb to ask.
Thanks David(woodridge).

Re: Chevy GMC NATs
Come on guys - post up. I had a car show here at home to run. First time show at our church to raise money for a missions trip. I won the Best Truck...real shame though, I was the only truck there. I was also tied up for Best in Show. We gave it to the EXTREMELY nice Cobra R that gave everyone free rides. ^ Too many smiley's. Must be giddy today. |
