Talking the wrenchin' report - keeping it running - what have YOU been doing lately?

heyas...

so, yesterday I swapped out the starter motor on my '65 c10, which has a '92 5.7l/350 carbureted engine... and it was relatively painless, considering. However, it starts much better now.

Anyhoo, I got to wondering about the basic things we all have to do to keep our trucks running... but they aren't really fancy or glamourous, but necessary.

So... what have you folks done lately to keep your truck running?

laters,

-W

Re: keepin' it running - the non glamorous truck wrenching

SIR - I know what you mean, just giving my long bed a good wash with soap and water takes a good while.

forget about polishing and doing the windows... hah.

I did the oil change/filter and lube this past week also... hopefully I can get around to rotating the tires also this week.
