brake light wiring help

So im trackin down wiring problems and i noticed today that when i step on the brakes my dash lights light up instead of my tail lights. Is this a simple undo and redo some wire ends, or is there more to it than that?

an replace both tail light bulbs with brand new 1157 bulbs, or, if you want a little brighter of a brake light, 2057.
