a/c question
Recently bought 72 swb w/ 350. It was a stock air truck. Person I bought it from installed a new sanden compressor and hooked it into stock system. When I got it everything was hooked up. I have brought it to two places they both applied vacuum to it added oil and freon, one changed the pos and expansion valve. Dryer is clear. Lines get cold but nothing inside truck. Any thing missing in one of these conversions , it is converted to new freon.... Thanks

Re: a/c question
Does it have the stock dash control and does the flapper valve work when the control is turned to inside?
Also, does the vacuum valve work on the heater hose to shut off the flow when the AC is on? Jim |

Re: a/c question
The flapper door is located on the passenger side under the cowl screen. Here is a picture of the vacuum operator as connected to the door and the door itself.
