what is a CST?
seen alot of old blazers burbs and pickups but what exactly is a CST? Is that better than a Cheyenne Super? What distinguishes a CST from the other ones? Was just curious. I don't own a 67-72 but my good friend Charlie has a 69 K30 Wrecker and a 70 3-door C20 Suburban, retired ambulance. And I saw this pickup down the road from me a 72, regular cab, 8' box, 4wd, 400. 600$ frame is good body has some issues. has CST emblems on it.

Re: what is a CST?
CST stands for Custom Sport Truck. It was the top of the line trim package/model on trucks from 67-70.Then,in`71 came the Cheyenne and Cheyenne Super when the CST badge was dropped.
The`69-72 top of the line Blazer was CST package. Suburbans,I believe went the same as trucks, except in 71/72 the top of the line was Custom Deluxe. There were no Cheyenne Blazers or Suburbans. The models went like this from lower to higher: 67-70...C/10,Custom/10,CST/10 71/72...Custom/10,Custom Deluxe/10,Cheyenne/10,Cheyenne Super/10

Re: what is a CST?
so its my assumption that the doors to that truck are not original then? the whole truck is glittered with aluminum trim all down the sides and whatnot, has a nice woodgrain looking interior. well that was neat to know. guy selling it explained that he thought it was one of those owner monograms "popular in the 70s" but couldn't say for sure.
I really would like to have a 69-70 Pickup, apparently in CST trim. Blue and white. hopefully going to pickup a 69 Deville Convertible in Eliot, Me. 472 matching numbers.....as if cadillacs had more than one motor. would be nice to have a truck to match, but i believe the cadillac will keep me busy for a while.
