1969 ac heater box trouble
was wondering if anyone knew if there were diferent kinds of ac heater boxes that came on these trucks. I bought my truck in pieces and the heater box that came with it didnt fit it. I tried putting a non-ac one on it and it wouldn't work either. Looking for suggestions.

justaboutdone
[QUOTEthe heater box that came with it didnt fit it][/QUOTE] Are we talking inside the cab box or the one on the engine compartment side here? I think that all the one's that I have seen are the same throughout the series (67 to 72). The only major difference is the a/c or non a/c. the ac unit will corespond to the extra holes in the firewall.

Re: 1969 ac heater box trouble
I may be wrong (often am) but I think there were some minor differences with the '72 A/C system than the earlier years. I think the boxes were the same though.
