column shifter sticks
some of you replied to another post regarding this, and i really appreciate it. however, if anyone has the time, pics of the exact bolts to tighten and such would be a huge help. i put some white lithium on the linkages under the hood and that seems to have helped for now. im sure adjusting the actual column linkages will be the correct solution, though.
thanks in advance!!!!! |

Re: column shifter sticks
it kinda depends on the situation, some I have had to disassemble the column in order to remove all the old lithium grease inside the column-it was glue-like after 35 yrs. some trucks need new bushings on the rod/lever ends. on one I had to weld up the ears on the column levers themselves so they would catch when you moved the column lever. brian
