Cab Supports
I know this has been asked before, but what is the best way to replace a front cab support do you have to take the cab off the frame? or can you leave it on an jack it up? Do you have to un-bolt the front clip?
Thanks, DREW67

Re: Cab Supports
No you can leave the cab on if you are talking about the u shaped bracket rivited to the frame. I had to do that on my orange and white in 2000 when it was still active. I used a floor jack to support the cab while doing the swap. I hope this helps.

Re: Cab Supports
You mean the one of these in the pic, or the steel brackets that are rivited to the frame?

Re: Cab Supports
I have not done one myself yet, but I think you can leave the cab as-is.

Re: Cab Supports
You will have to remove the hood then unbolt the fenders and the take out the cab support bolts on the side you will be replacing the cab supports on. Don't have to remove the cab just jack up the side you're working on.
