nerf bars and AC
Looking for bolt on nerf bars and any add on AC recommendations for my 71 4X4. I prefer to keep my original heater intact. Please advise.....

Welcome from NJ! The most inexpensive way to go without disturbing your heater is with the dealer installed underdash A/C system. They can usually be had for a fairly reasonalble price and work fairly well to from what I hear. This is a picture of what they look like. It bolts directly under your dash & you have like 4 wires to hook up, you have to make a 1 1/2-2" hole in the firewall above the heater box to run the lines and you need the usual compresor, condensor, drier...
