Rad. core support?
I haxe a chance to buy a '69 CST RAD. CORE SUPPORT, will it fit in my '72 GMC JIMMY? I think I can deal with the dual lites by just cutting spot welds and move them over to the other core support.
Any opinions, suggestions, ideas would be helpful!! Jim |

Re: Rad. core support?
Yes that should work fine and you will also have to use your latch mech from your old support. From some research I have done all 67-72 are inner changable. The diff between 67-68 and 69-72 is the head light bucket and a few holes but the overall size and shape is the same. GMC to chevy is just a spot welded head light duel bezel. Hope this helps.

Re: Rad. core support?
Yes that helps alot, thought they might fit since the fenders are basically the same, but wasn't sure. I remember the old days when '55 chevys and pontiac had the same doors.
What does LFD stand for? thanks Jim |
