2007 Silverado
Here are some pictures of the new Silverado, does this look like the Nissan Titan to anyone else? I'm glad I got my '05 when I did.

Re: 2007 Silverado
I was hoping the body style would be more like the new Tahoe... I'm not even sure what to think of that... If they make the GMC uglier, might not be so bad.

Re: 2007 Silverado
Me too.... I thought it was gonna look just like the tahoe/burbs.... for once GM has surprised me I like it. But I think it looks much more like a big colorado (from the side) than a titan.... I think the hood is "popped" in that first pic.... if it's not that is some POOR fitment there!
I'd buy it if I didn't have a perfectly good almost paid for one already Edit: I read that article...the hood IS popped

Re: 2007 Silverado
The more I look at the 3/4 rear shot....the more it kinda looks like a tacoma with square wheel openings.....

Re: 2007 Silverado
I think GMC has been consistently putting out nicer looking trucks for the past decade now. I'm hoping this trend stays true.
The new "Colorado" look is awful, but it looked better than this crap!

And then they wonder why the company is in so much trouble!
GM, here's a hot tip for you: Fire the entire design team and hire some people with some common sense!

All the new Chevy's are looking like sh*t these days. Why can't they get smarter designers and make a nice looking truck?

Re: 2007 Silverado
First time I have seen this as well. The cab and hood look good...but thats about it. I don't like the grille/headlights or the front bumper, and the bed don't flow very well with the rest of the truck(reminds me of a sport trac). Also don't like the fender bulges. But, like any new re-design, sometimes they just have to grow on you. That's just my .02 though.

Re: 2007 Silverado
I think they should hire some of us guys to do the designing and remake the 67-72's and/or the 73-87's. I would really like to see if they could remake the 67-72's. But at the same time i would be afraid it would come out looking like crap like the rest of the stuff they have.

Re: 2007 Silverado
I think they tried to pull some of the design from 73-87s...Very bad job at it......The bed sucks and so do plastic bumpers espically on a truck

Re: 2007 Silverado
I think it looks like shi* to me. They keep coming up with poor designs for awile now. I got to drive an '06 Silverado at work today and it was not too bad at all. The body style was pretty nice and it had dual exhaust and a it was hopped up a little but the body style was way better then this 1 is.

Re: 2007 Silverado
I also thought they would look like the tahoes, wouldn't have been bad these look like crap. This company is going downhill fast they better get rid of the foreign design team. I never thought I'd say this but I actually think Ford's super duty is a nicer looking truck and that's not saying much. They have a ways to go to be as ugly as a Dodge yet.
