bench seat question

want a bench seat but i was wondering if i could fit a 74 pick up bench seat on my 72 without trouble.
has anyone done this before?

I don't think the legs bolt in right. In the 67-72, both mounting plates are flat whereas the oens in the 74 are slanted.
