progress
I made some progress this week. I got the notch in and built some new trailing arms for the rear. I hope to have the tub back on in a few weeks.

Re: progress
The floor will have to have a hump, but I think I can hide it under the back seat.

Re: progress
Trailing arms look good, what did you do for the mounting locations to the center crossmember?

Re: progress
N2TRUX is funny but right. I am not going to cut up my 2wd chassis either so no airbags or notch for me. I have the CPP coil over rear suspension instead.

Re: progress
I went back and forth about whether to cut it up or not. I thought about getting a 4x4 chassis and converting it, or building a full tube frame, or several other options. I finally decided it was time to quit thinking and do something, so I started cutting..........because i already had everything and it was right there in the shop.
I know I probably "ruined" a highly sought after frame, but to me it was more about having it the way I wanted it. to me it is not ruined it is almost perfect. ![]() |

Re: progress
Ruined? Nothing that can't be undone later down the line.
