I need to get the dual tanks straightned out on my new 85 crew cab k30. Looking under my 78 is not helping me too much because i believe they have differences in the two. Soooooo does anybody know where i can get illustrations and who too use for parts? thanx

Re: dual tanks
What problems are you having? The 85 I think had the multi wire system in the valve rather than the single wire setup like on your 78.

Re: dual tanks
Po butchered the fuel system with a small electric fuel pump instead of mechanical pulling all the fuel from driver side. Can't understand why he had a fire!!!duh Anyway there is a solenoid back there but i dont know if it works, cant find the switch on dash yet. Would just assume chuck the whole thing and start with new. Just looking for a little guidance of what it is supposed to look like and where to get stuff.thanx

Re: dual tanks
You can get stuff for that at LMCtruck.com or other places that sell AC Delco stuff like your dealer. If you wanted to go back with a easy setup you can get a older style solenoid with a power wire and ground like mine has. Mine does have the emissions style on it where the vent line comes back into the solenoid but you can get away with not having it by plugging the return lines if you need to pass emissions as long as your gas caps are vented.
