I was looking at my linkages from the tranny to the colum, is there different setups? Was 67-68 different,if so will they still work on a 69-72?

Re: 3 speed tranny linkage???

I have only seen one type. Could be wrong, but I think they are all the same.

Re: 3 speed tranny linkage???

Only thing I can think of is that the linkages for the 6 bangers are longer than the ones for the V8's, due to the tranny sitting farther back.

Re: 3 speed tranny linkage???

Ok that makes sense now seeing how one set came out of a 69 pickup that had a I6 in it. Would anything else be different out of a I6 pickup?

Re: 3 speed tranny linkage???

I few I can think of quick, radiator is smaller, narrower, no fan shroud, just a guard, engine mount towers and manual tranny crossmember location in the frame, engine wiring harness, gas line from tank is also different because of pump location..
