ForSale: 4speed Truck Tilt & MSD6AL
Yep you read right!!!
I got a 4 speed Truck Tilt here. I bought this off a fellow member almost 2 years ago. He had it rebuilt. It is very nice (but probably could use a quick paint job) It comes with 2 NEW levers (Turn Signal & Tilt). I bought it to use in my HotRod Ford - but have decided that it needs to go home to a nice fully optioned 4x4 4speed truck and not in a HotRod. I've only had it out of the box that it was shipped to me in twice - to take the pictures Price = SOLD Next is a BRAND NEW: MSD 6AL - this box has never been run with anything. It was mounted in my truck and the "rubber mounts" have a little Yellow primer on them - but will easily clean off with some Laquer thinner. Note it is missing Harness PN# 8860 - this part is $11.88 @ Summit. (It is basically an extension from your MSD Dizzy to the Box. If you aren't using a MSD Dizzy - no big deal you don't need it. Price for the MSD is $160 + Shipping I don't want to sound like a jerk, but it seems that when selling on the boards everyone has thier own idea of how it works and who is in line: so here how this is going to work according to how I want it to work: If you want one of these items and are ready to purchase - no B.S. please. Then Post HERE first (get in line to appease everyone here) and then PM me. Payments: PAYPAL or USPS Money Order only (Read - no Walmart, WesternUnion Etc.) or Cash. I prefer Cash and PayPal. There will be no exceptions! Be Patient with me - I'm in and out all day/weekend. If you follow the instructions there is nothing to worry about Here's the pictures:

You don't need to tell us not to complain about prices...we all read the rules, too.

Re: ForSale: 4speed Truck Tilt & MSD6AL
Yeh I'm '67-72less Now. Sorry - I really need the Cash now.
I originally bought the Tilt for my HotRod Ford...not my Chevy P/U. But I found something that will work in the hot rod and figured I shouldn't waste one of these where it doesn't belong. Lowered the price on the Tilt as I guess that I paid too much for it to begin with or nobody has $$$ I have a set of SBC motormounts for a 67-72: $20 + the ride Rear Taillamp Wiring harness for a Step Side: $20 + the ride (these are like $80 New!!!) BBC Valve Cover Spacers: NEW NEVER INSTALLED - incase you want to run rollers with some short style covers. they are 1.150" high. $100 + the ride. I also have a '67-'68 396cid Block for a Manual Tranny Chevelle - 325Horse Option. It is standard bore and has been Align Honed, Cleaned, Magged. Ready for boring & decking. I have a BRAND NEW Gm NOS Forged & Nitrated crank to go with it as well. I have over $700 between the two. $550 - Must be picked up. If you want Pictures PM me and I'll get some for you.

The black one with the screw in it?? - I think it is just an access cover of some type. Every 67-72 Column that I've had has had it on it. The silver thing is the bearing retainer - they had springs on some of them as well Honestly I'm not really sure. That is the way that I got the column - I only took it out of the box twice

Re: ForSale: 4speed Truck Tilt & MSD6AL
I have a question about the manual tilt....Is it 67-68 style or 69-72 style? It's my understanding that the 67-68 manual tilt was diiferent than the later manual tilts. Correct me if I'm wrong and if you know what year tilt it is???
Thanks Alex |

Re: ForSale: 4speed Truck Tilt & MSD6AL
Andy,
Would you entertain an offer of $750 for the block (I assume that it is a 2-bolt), crank, and tilt? No shipping involved. I'd pick-up. Let me know. Thanks, Mike D.

Re: ForSale: 4speed Truck Tilt & MSD6AL
Some people say the tilts started in`68,but I always understood it to be`69.

I think it would be cheaper to have it shipped than gas.
