Question on Short fleet floor
Hey guys, I bought a short fleetside bed . The bed floor is rusted threw in the front. I am wanting to put the wood down. Can somebody post detailed pics of one that is finished so I can see what I need to do. Or give me some input on my project . Thanks

Re: Question on Short fleet floor
Call Les at GMC Pauls....You need a different front piece for a wood bed and all the wood supports. Les will set you up!

Re: Question on Short fleet floor
Are you talking about the ribs that cross the frame under the bed floor?

Re: Question on Short fleet floor
Yes, I believe they are different for a wood floor bed. The front and rear piece are for sure different.

Re: Question on Short fleet floor
What do you think of taking the metal floor from a long bed and cutting it down to fit the shortbed??
