Need AC help
I'm not the most knowledgable person with AC's so here goes. I have an 84 GMC Sierra 2500 I bought recently that the compressor will not engage. I don't have any voltage at the compressor but did find 12v on the light green wire going to the pressure switch @ the accumulator. I shorted the connector and still nothing.
That was as far as I got before we had bad weather yesterday evening. Any advice on where to go from here? Thanks.

Re: Need AC help
Well, i hard wired the compressor today and the clutch kicked in. It's probobly low on freon because it wasn't cooling.
My darn multimeter is not working on ohms so the voltage problem from the switch is still a mystery because I can't tell if I have a bad wire or not. I don't plan on hardwiring, just troubleshooting for now.
