Heater hose routing?
How is the heater hose routed on a 72 GMC truck with A/C, and 350 sbc? I'm talking about the heater hose that comes off the intake manifold, and goes to the heater valve. Does it go over or under the A/C compressor?

Here'a a pic from the 1972 Truck Service Manual showing the same routing as the pic Solver posted but from another angle.

Re: Heater hose routing?
Ya, I seen those pics in the Service manual, but I don't agree with them. It looks like it would be better to run it under the compressor. I'm undecided.

Re: Heater hose routing?
i dont think thats an option. the top hose would kink or be at such an angle. i think over the compressor is the only way!

Re: Heater hose routing?
I might just get a nice stainless 90* fitting and install it in the intake maniold.
