Question Glove box door emblem

My '72 Suburban Cust/Del does not have an emblem on the glove box door as shown in many of the catalogs I have. Did only some trucks come with this emblem?

Suburban custom deluxe doesn't have a glovebox emblem, or the fancy side marker lights. Neither did the pickup custom deluxe

I have a '72 Custom Deluxe Suburban too.

Re: Glove box door emblem

The above shown picture is not from any '72 truck. Only Cheyenne Supers and Sierra Grandes had glovebox door emblems. The one shown is for a 69/70 Custom, which was the mid-level truck just as the Custom Deluxe was in 71/72. As mentioned,Custom Deluxes had no glove box emblem. I have glove box doors with Custom emblems and so do many other members, but this isn't a for sale or WTB thread and this isn't the parts section. I gathered you were looking for accurate information.

Thanks for the info, wrong section as you pointed out.
I did a search on custom G.B. doors and came across this old thread.
