Manual choke cable setup?
Hey,
Does anyone have ... or can someone take ... some pics of their manual choke setup on their carb? My carb seems to missing the "anchor" for the choke cable sleeve, so I just have the cable end and sleeve sitting there with no place to attach. If I pop the hood and set the choke, it works just fine. Looking to just get this wrapped up so I don't have to pop my hood all the time to get my truck to start and warm up. Thanks, Dave |

I'll try to get out there in the morning and snap you some pics. If I forget, you can PM or email me at msanders(at)gmail(dot)com

MY bad. The wife and kids have the digi camera on a quick road trip. Maybe I can get pics Sunday afternoon.
But I'll bump you back up. Maybe someone else will see this.

Re: Manual choke cable setup?
Great ... thank you ...
Just for clarification, I am running with a QuadraJet carb ... if that makes any difference. Looking forward to any pics you may be able to provide, so I know what to go look for to complete. Thanks, Dave |

Aww heck. I have the 2Bbl, also. I'll snap the pics in the morning, though.

Re: Manual choke cable setup?
I don't know about Quads, but after promising a week ago, I hope these pics of my 2Bbbl chioke setup help. If you need a different angle or whatever, let me know. The back bracket holds the cable in position and the bracket is held in place by one of the screws that holds the carb top in place.
