i made my own for about 30$ or so.

where did you find the covering for them..

1/8" plywood from lowes (just a scrap piece for like 10$ big enough to cut the templates from)
roll of carpet from walmart/checkers etc. spray on glue and then stapled on the back (10$)
speakers i bought today at checkers for 12$ or so (been looking but nothing in the size i needed and not the right price till now)
i actually have my vent doors removed so the speakers sit in the vent hole perfect.
im in the process of building a shaved cowl so im not worried about water etc. plus i live in phoenix.

I did the very same thing. In the end I had about $70 after speakers, and my speakers were nicer than a pair of $180 kickpanels I found online.

Looks good! I'm going to make some fiberglass ones when I get some extra $$$. I can't see spending $140 for a set that has crappy speakers and vibrate.
