What you have is a 1972 350 that was originally equipped with a Rochester Quadrajet. It came out of a Chevelle , Monte Carlo or Impala/Caprice. It was also an automatic transmission only unit. It was a 1972 ONLY engine and the alpha code is very definite about these specific applications. Hope this helps, Dean
