Ahhh!!!Another What`s It Worth Thread
I had to miss Carlisle last week.I`d rather sell things to my buddies here than Ebay. You are my buddies, right?Well,I still want full price, buddy or not.I got N.O.S.stuff.This all came from many trips to my local Chevy dealer:
*Suburban tailight lenses*Suburban b/u lenses*Tach dash printed circuit*complete console in pieces*Chevy Fleetside tailgate*Blazer gas tank*Ash tray*Black dash pad*71/72 grille emblem*Blazer 4wd rear brake drum*Tailgate handle*Cargo lamp*Saddle steering wheel That`s all I remember right now.I only need the money or I`d keep it.Not looking to give it away.Let me know what you know,thanks.

Re: Ahhh!!!Another What`s It Worth Thread
I'm interested in complete console (Is it seat belt or cup), cargo lamp (assembly, kit, or ?) and tailgate handle (original style) not new style. According to the answer to questions and pictures, I would go + or - $400.
Are you going to Charlotte!! Did you get those seats and console installed. Thanks, Dan |

Re: Ahhh!!!Another What`s It Worth Thread
Does anyone else hate these: "WIW" threads? Nothing is priced and everyone is trying to make bids, sending PMs, making offers, trying to get "dibs"...
Please just describe the items and price them. Oops...I forgot the smiley Last edited by PICKMUP; 08-14-2006 at 05:42 PM. |

Re: Ahhh!!!Another What`s It Worth Thread
In Response to prior comments:
Please move this back to where I posted it.This is not a for sale thread!I am looking to my community of 20,000+ fellow truck enthusiasts for advise and info.Just as we do when we want to know something about a carburator or what`s the difference between...or will this work...or should I sell or fix? When I decide how I want to go about selling things,I will go about it in the proper way.I know what I have,I`ve had this stuff for years and at the time I bought it I knew it was an investment if I never used it.I never thought that day would come, but I`m looking at it pretty seriously.I used to be a vendor 12+ years ago and if I wanted to simply unload it,I have a list of ol'boys waiting. Read my post, and the rules while you`re at it.I believe there`s something about moving-on if you have nothing good to say!!!! BTW...Thanks jay_shy,that`s what I`m looking for. You`re a good reader.

IBTL - NOS Fleet Gate $600 - $800 (I was offered $900 for mine and it's a
OE gate in primer, should I have sold it, maybe not, but damn it's straight)

Re: Ahhh!!!Another What`s It Worth Thread
I guess I shouldn`t have used the word "sell" in any context.I figured it would be assumed anyway. You`re right about the PMs,Frank.Sheesh!I said too much,re:"I`d rather sell here to my buddies."Or,should have added more:"...when I`m ready to sell."
Josh,I don`t know.Whatever you think`s best,I understand, and agree.I didn`t get much from it anyway.I shouldn`t have layed it all out at once.Maybe just kill it Hey Craig, thanks. To all those that got worked up over this, sorry.I know this stuff won`t be hard to sell.I`m not playing a game.I have an idea what each thing could go for, already.I wanted to see where it stood here to decide whether to sell here.IMO,most guys sell real reasonable here compared to what I`m used to(in my area) elsewhere.
