Like Christmas.... in August

The beautiful brown truck dropped these off today. Getting closer to all my parts needed. Thinking of taking off work next week to pull it out and build the new engine. Trans is already done(700r4). Rewireing truck for TBI. Hopefully get everything done real quick with my sons help, his first truck build (almost 16), as I am very tired of seeing it just sit on my driveway. Then we get to trailer it to Tulsa to have the chip burned and dyno run. That should be fun! Engine will be roller 350 with zz3 cam, aluminum trick flow with crane gold series rockers, 454 TBI pod and 454 injectors. Trans is built with corvette servo and pistons. Should be a good weekend cruiser for the wife and I. Paint to come later.

Hey project - If you don't mind me asking who/where did you order your headers from? Any idea how much clearance there'll be? Good luck on the rebuild - sounds like you guys are gonna have a lotta fun with it.

Re: Like Christmas.... in August

I got them off Ebay i will enclose the link, i also got the water pump there. I looked at ALOT of pics on this forum and the other guys headers and I believe these are exactly what i am looking for since i don't want my exhaust to be seen below the frame. I am also using a late model small starter. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY...mZ260017570470 sorry don't know how to make the link smaller.
