Any mods for 3/5 drop springs?
I am thinking about purchasing 3/5 drop springs for my 72 c10. Are there any mods required to install these?

Not really, just be carefull, under some pressure removing the old, new go in easy. You will want to get a alignment upon completion.
I guess I should add you will want to get drop shocks and rear shock relocaters as well as a adjustabe panhard bar or track bar kit.

Thanks boraxman!!! I knew about the shocks, but forgot about the panhard bar. As long as I don't have to c-notch or anything i'll be fine.

Does a 3-5 drop make the truck ride rough? I thought I recalled someone here mentioning the truck rode "weird" after using a 3-5, but I could be wrong too. Thought I might as well ask in case there are any problems.

3" for the front may be a little too much. You may be riding on your bumpstops a good bit. You may want to look into some spindles instead. Just my .02

Re: Any mods for 3/5 drop springs?
We had 3" springs in the front of my Sons 71 LWB and it rode like crap. We changed to 2 1/2 spindels and a 1" spring and got the ride hieght we wanted and a nice ride. Its down 4 " in the rear with springs plus 2 " blocks for a total of 6. You can feel the differance in ride from front to rear, the front is nice the rear is ruff.
Good Luck

Go with spindles and 1.5 - 2" springs..
I had to shave my bumpstops with 2" springs in the front.. I wouldn't run the 3" springs.. It will ride on the stops..aka bad ride.. I'm running a 4.5/6 drop with my lwb.. No notch
