Lifting my truck 2-3 inches

I'm thinking about getting some 67-68 4x4 leaf springs and having them re-arched 2-3 inches higher (possibly more leaves if they are 1/2 ton springs), and putting them under my truck. Is there anything I'll probably have to change while putting new springs under it? I need new shocks, because I still have the ones from 1968 underneath the truck. Is there anything else to look for, E-Brake cables, bushings, bolts, driveshafts. Anything that may cause any problems, I'd like to know. I appreciate any answers.

I think under 4" of lift you should be ok, it shouldn't be any different than just putting a set of add-a-leaf springs under your truck. I have asked in the past, and your drive shaft and steering arm can both accommodate 2" of lift in stock form.
Bolts should be re-usable if they are in good condition, while you have the extra springs out, I would replace the bushings.

I had my`90 Blazer leveled-up when I bought it.I asked for 1" and it`s more like 2+.I didn`t change a thing.When doing Add-A-Leafs(2-3") it doesn`t require shock changing,either.It should be straight forward,just do the springs kinda job.I suppose if you need shocks anyway,it wouldn`t hurt to ask if there`s a listing for 2" longer.But,probably they start at 4".

Ok, cool. Thanks for the info. I just looked online at Summit, and they have Skyjacker shocks listed for 0-2in. lift, and 2-4 in. lift. If I went the 2in. route, should I run 0-2in. shock or 2-4 in lift shock? They are the same price so I guess it won't make a difference.

I`d go with the 2-4".I don`t think "stuffing" them would be as much of an issue as "over-extending" them.Going down the road I think you`ll never bottom the longer shocks.
