Re: Buick 455 in my 67
My wife's old truck (look at redneckgirl's avatar) had a 350 Buick motor in it. I will talk to my brother in-law and see what it took to do it.

Re: Buick 455 in my 67
I did a couple of Buick/Olds to 1 ton swaps years ago and everything fit.It was a simple pull and swap.I used the orig truck towers(I'm sure they were BB) It's been years since i did them but even the wiring seems like it fit.

Re: Buick 455 in my 67
I talked to my brother in law and it was too many years ago to remember exactly how it was done. He did say it involved cutting and welding, but wasn't sure how much. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Re: Buick 455 in my 67
the engine mount towers from the 67 - 87 2 wheel drive ar eperfect for this kind of swap. they are flat, cheap, and they work. That's what they used for the Pontiac 350 that was in my rig, and what I used for the caddy that's in it now.

Re: Buick 455 in my 67
Did you ever get the mount issues worked out? I am getting ready to install 455 Buick into a '68 GMC that originally had a 351 V6.
