Welcome to the board from South Mississippi! Be warned, it's a lot easier to take them apart than to put them back together.

Re: Here is my Friday night progress

Thank for all the feedback & welcomes!! I plan on pulling the motor and trans next, then pressure washing and off to get the frame sandblasted. Then it will be the winter project to get the frame, suspension, and drivetrain done and that will take alot of Budweiser!! I am excited about it!!

Smile Re: Here is my Friday night progress

I pressure washed the frame today with a heated pressure washer. Wow! That thing heated the water to 225 degree's and 36 years of grease, oil, antifreeze, mud and cow $%#$% is now all over my yard and me. The rental of that was money well spent. Not a spec of oil left on the frame. I have a little welding to do on the frame and next stop is to the sandblaster. It may be a couple weeks before that though.

Re: Update on 70 lwb progress

Well I spent the day ripping down the front suspension for a complete rebuild. It's hard to tell where to stop but, now there is no question it's completely torn down ball joints and all what a chore to get all those parts seperated from each other. Next I hope to get it to the sandblaster so I can get it all the frame and suspension parts primed and painted and ready for the long cold Minnesota winter project.
