Re: 67 drag truck dash
Looks nice but i'd rather have the tach in my line of sight. My eyes ain't so good any more...

Re: 67 drag truck dash
I think for in the dash, that`s great.Although the tach is straight ahead in the factory position,it`s through the wheel and smaller. It`s just as easy to glance down and right as it is to glance straight down, maybe easier.Looks like the "hot set-up" to me.
Now you could mount a killer stereo in the instrument panel area.

Re: 67 drag truck dash
Did you angle it towards the driver side? That would avoid any glare that you may have.

even when i had good eyes i wanted my tach in my face on my race cars// but it's nice craftsmanship and an origanal non cookie cutter idea

Re: 67 drag truck dash
I say put the tach and speedo in front of you in the "other" glove box and leave the rest of the gauges where you put them but angle them a little by slicing some pipe and welding them to the dash angled. Like the left glove box idea. That would eliminate the plastic surround. I like it.
