new guy and pics of my truck
http://www.webshots.com/search?query=chevystepside
You can see some here. Some of you know me at ChevyStepside.. I didn't like the way I did it the first time so I am redoing it. I wanted it to be a short fleet like it is supposed to be so that is what I am going with this time.. It had a 350/700R4 with 75 Truck suspension and brakes up front, 72 Rear End.. What is going it is an 88 TBI with 700R4, all the wiring harness from the 88 along with steering column and hopfully hook up the Cruise control seeing I will have a computer in the truck also. Two tone paint (color will be disclosed later). I am sure i will think of alot of other things but why tell all now.. |

Re: new guy and pics of my truck
I didn't think a newer column would bolt in ? was your truck a short wheel base or are you shortening the frame ? most of those throttle bodies are shot so get an aftermarket one

Re: new guy and pics of my truck
I didn't get the column bolted up yet. I have it placed in and I am trying to figure it out. seems like I am going to have to lose the hand brake and go with a foot one. I may have to change out my brake pedal bracket also. Right now I can't even get to my truck to work on it but I am making room so that I can..

Re: new guy and pics of my truck
We can always ask... Anyone up for "Rust Never Sleeps '07" 60-66 Chevy Truck meet and BBQ and get this.. You can bring your rusted out truck or your custom show truck.. Also.. Any cars are welcome. This is just an old fashioned get together of friends bull chitting about trucks and stuff for a day..

Jeeze, Johnny, they let anybody in there! I can't seem to get away from you - I mentioned this site one time and bam you join up.
Seriously though, good to have you aboard - I think you'll find this forum much more uh.... "accommodating". It has better smiley's too. I wonder if these guys would be interested in coming to our NorCal Sacramento/ Bay area "Rust NEVER Sleeps" meets for '60-'66 Chevy/GMC trucks?
