Here's my truck.

I just thought I'd share some pics of my daily driver restoration project. What a job!! It was well worth it though, since these old trucks are hard to replace. Enjoy!
Here's a link to the pictures-

Great job. After seeing yours, I'll never complain about that little bit of rust on my truck again. How long did it take you to do all of the work?

Re: Here's my truck.

Hello, thanks for the compliments. In the future I plan on going through the engine. Nothing too wild, I love the truck the way it is and it works very well for me. I am not sure on the amount of hours spent on the cab, but I would probably guess at 80- 100. If I had to do it again it would go much quicker, but these new parts don't come with instructions... hehe All of the new metal is mig welded in place and there is very little body fill. It was quite a learning experience for me.
Thanks,
FD

Re: Here's my truck.

Its ready for another 25 years now

I didn't see any of the interior..........Did that all get replaced? IMO, in the end the all the hard work is worth it!

Re: Here's my truck.

TP, not much to see for interior- it's all original too. I do need to replace the dashpad but that's no big deal... I'll get around to it. It will look so much better when I get the bed rails and side molding back on it.
I sure hope I don't have to rebuild this truck again.. too many other projects on the go, but then again you don't know what that's like....
