60-66 Logo
hey guys... I think its time that someone design a bad a$$ logo like the 67-72chevytrucks.com logo. I really like it, but I wish there was something like that for us. Whos got photoshop skills? I guess "60-66 chevy trucks" would be nice since we have no "official" site for us.

Re: 60-66 Logo
Guys I have one in the works. I made one in the past of the 67-72 that you can see at http://www.cafepress.com/zumografx
I wouldn't use cafe press though. I would have to take order and allow 6 to 8 weeks after that. And I would need at least 25 to make and order with my t-shirt printer. If I made one what color of shirt would you prefer? Black, white, blue, red, or whatever. Last edited by Zumo; 09-12-2006 at 04:57 PM. Reason: I can't type |

White or blue would be fine with me, x-large! Would like to see the logo when you get it done. I'll take at least 2 shirts. |

Re: 60-66 Logo
Red's my favorite color but I'll go with any color you guys pick although blue would go good with my kilt (anything but green) If you're taking orders I'll buy two - 3XLT's one 2XLT and two XL's - for a total of six.

Re: 60-66 Logo
Hey guys.. I was thinking of something like this. I am not the best artist nor am I the best halftone renderer. If someone likes this style maybe it can be done better.

Re: 60-66 Logo
LOL.. thats funny, the GMC guys. yeah, i think we should just stick to 60-66. I kind of like the design of the logo for this site, how it is halftone. I wouldnt want to get the site mad for sort of biting their logo though.

Re: 60-66 Logo
I drew this up in AutoCAD last year. It's a certain buddy's '62. (before he went traitor on us and stuck the GMC grill on instead) It's just a line drawing, but it prints up super clean. You don't mind do ya Dave?

Re: 60-66 Logo
And whats so funny about a GMC ? contrary to popular belief we are around here and do contribute to the forum and I happen to like the massive grill compared to some other makes whimpy design. If you want to trash somthing do a ford .

Some things to consider if we are going to get shirts. Silkscreen or Iron on. Typically silkscreen is better and last longer. Upside with iron on is you can have many colors. Silkscreen downside, more colors equals more money. |

Re: 60-66 Logo
i scanned the picture from a magizine and my wife has been photoshopping it she took out the back round and changed the rear small window to the big back window she is currently changing the color to a bright blue going to add the custom trim on the cab and going to change the rims to the ones i have maybe one could stay the chevy and the other could be changed to a gmc for the shirt.
