Had the day off. Columbus Day
Had the day off. My buddy Dave's uncle gave him an old T-bird. He wanted it for the engine and the rear. Well it gave me the opertunity to use my wreaker. Dave had a guy with a trailer to haul it but the front wheel was rusted solid and we couldn't get it on the trailer. Well as the saying goes: "The Lord hates a coward." so on the hook it went. It turned out to be quite an adventure. Here's a few picture of the F**d on the back of my truck.

They way it should be Chevy pulling a F@rd.
Love your truck, and the truth is those were not to shabby a year for the T-bird

your truck's rear fenders sit mighty close to the rear tires.

Matt there's usualy more clearence when there is no load on the truck. Those old cars were pretty heavy. I was suprized how much the springs flexed when we hoisted the T-bird.

Longhorn that's Dave. He took my picture sitting in my truck but they didn't come out. I must have been in a vampire mood.
You can see my picture in a post yesterday: "What did you do this weekend?" I am the guy with the gray hair in the sweaty t-shirt. Last edited by 72swbcamo; 10-09-2006 at 11:19 PM. |
