This crappy pic shows what happened to the pieces. Boy, it's tough to photograph shiny objects so there's no glare. It looks better in real life.

Sorry I was posting whiole you were posting the after pic. LOOKS GOOD. How come only 3 switches, front , rear, and all up/down, maybe?

Sheesh! That last pic looks real bad. No, there's no dark line under the switches, that's glare or shadow or something.

Here's a passenger side view. When I put the gauges in flat, I couldn't see the left side of the gauge, so I put them in on an angle.

NSANE68 - Almost. This is a 4 corner system (you know, 8 valves, 4 port 6gal tank) so I have front, rear and pancake on the dash.

I'll have the individual corner switches, for when I need to level things out, tucked away somewhere else. I didn't want to go the Nintendo controller route, but, hmmmm....maybe if what I've got works....

BTW: I _was_ going to do the 2 way system (Both front, Both rear) until I found out from the board that you'll get bleed through between L and R sides especially when you corner.

It's great to always get good advice from those members who've BTDT .

NSANE68 - Duh, I re-read your post. Your WERE right - Front, Rear, and (I'm still learning the terms) all 4 up-down, aka, pancake.

Yea, I seen in your sig it was a independent system at 4 corners, but the 3 switches through me. I figured it was front, rear, and pancake. I just couldn't figure why you wouldn't want idividual control of corners for level. But that makes sense now.

The angles were pure luck. If you look at them up close, you can see they aren't exactly the same.

The gauges just happened to fit nicely inside a 2"ID piece of tailpipe connector. Just cut it in half, grind off the galvenizing (outdoors, with a mask!!) cut holes in flat panel, mark where you think the angle should be, and weld.

Holding them while welding _was_ a little tricky!
