Re: My new bundle of Joy!!!
Did grandpa install those wheels and tires? If so, he has excellent taste.
Great looking truck, must be nice to jump in one and ride. Is this an Iowa truck? Don't you have to deal with salt up there? You have a very unique truck with top molding only, but really blends well with the wheel well molding.

Re: My new bundle of Joy!!!
actually grandpas son installed the wheels and tires, i need to replace the 2 front tires there pretty thin (actually had one go flat driving home),
but the old guy gave me the original steel wheels and hubcaps for it, yes it has always been an iowa truck, it was only driven in the summer for vacations and the bed was taken off when it was new and he had some kind of camper on it, so the bed has always sat in the garage and was just put back on about 6 months ago, and the truck did have the lower mouldings the PO just didnt install them after he had it painted, and yes he gave me them too!

Re: My new bundle of Joy!!!
Beautiful truck! I love those pampered jewels. Just an FYI. you might want to ditch those wheelwell mouldings. i just repaired the fenders on a friend's 2002 pickup with the same type moulding you have there. He had 2 rust holes the size of a quarter behind them. Right where the holes were, there was a mound of dried mud that had gathered there and caused the rust holes.
