I bought my '72 GMC off of ebay from an Indiana F/D a year old. After eight months or so of working on it off and on, I finally got it like I wanted. I absolutely love this truck.

Problem is that I found a '72 Chevy K10 stepside in Mississippi for sale. Owner says he bought the truck from a friend (1st owner) and the truck is in great shape. No dents or rust!! PTO winch!! Original paint!! I am going to look at the truck this weekend.

I could buy this truck, but I already have three vehicles and I'm the only driver in the family at this time.

I could buy this truck for a good price, switch out the column shift with a 4 speed I have laying around and resale it and make some change.

Or I could buy this truck, sell my GMC and pay the rest of the GMC note off and probaly have enough to pay this truck off too. Decisions, Decisions.

Do you ever get to a point when ONE truck is enough?

'Course not,I had 4 at one time,2 C10's and 2 K10's.Now I just have the 2 K10's.Just curious,where in Indiana did you get the truck?

Evansville, IN and I'm sorry I can't remember the F/D. It was Mc..something. I think it was located near the airport.

honestly, no. i thought one was enough but as soon as a found a brother for my 1st '67, well, then that was it. 1 is a start, 2 is good, more is better (if you have room.)

If I had room, I would have picked up a 4x4 that was for sale last month. I like to have trucks for different reasons, but I lack funds for multiple projects, otherwise, I would have at least 2.

Well, I would love to have another old truck, but the finances just aren't there with the new house and baby. Currently I have my '68, my own personal pickup, the wife's bravada and a company truck so I have lots of vehicles at my disposal. I want to sell my newer pickup that I never drive and get another old truck but I am worried if I lose my company truck of what I will drive in the winter. Good luck with your decision.

I paid $5200 for it and have another $3000 in it, with paint, tires & rims, all spring lift, exhaust and redoing the interior. Truck is in great shape with about 34000 miles on it. Believe it or not my wife and children love the truck as much as I.

Your GMC is unique, I wouldn't think of getting rid of it. But yeah it's hard to stay at one. I have any more on hold at the moment till I get this one running again, or my daughter through college.

I may go for another someday, but will make it 2WD and fast! Great complement to my 4WD right now. Or I amy lean towards a muscle car then the whole family can ride along! I sold my new truck and love not having payments.

These trucks are like women...you can have just one and live a long happy life...but you really want 3 or 4 or 5.........Man law....men should never be limited to just one woman......er...i mean truck....

I think the real question is when is too much money in one truck enough? According to what i spent for the truck and what i plan to do with it, i'll be out about 18K. And i can see how one could keep going. i cant imagine buying another truck before the one i have is done. although i would love a 69 4x4.

You can only have too many trucks when the money needed to buy, or space needed to store starts negatively effecting your family. I have 7 currently (none on the road) but they are stored elsewhere and money used on them does not hurt family needs.
So, you just wait 'til I win the lottery... whoa boy,... we're talking pick-up ranch....
