i have 31x18.5x15's on the back of my truck along with 3:08's for rear gears, needless to say it doesnt use the BB power all that well. now it does cruise nicely but has very little get up and go. im not looking for "pull the front wheels" power but i do need a bit better acceleration when pulling out on the streets here in phoenix. so anyways..........
i check craigslist every night and there was a guy looking for a 3:08 rear for his sons 68 chevy, come to find out the sons rear had 4:10's in it

here in a couple weeks we are gonna swap rears with each other !! (man i should reword that a bit diffrently

)
so i should have the get and go like i want and since the truck is used very little im not all that worried about gas plus i still dont have the rear tires balanced so i dont go over 35/40mph anyways.

try some 4.56 gears

The 4:10 gears will wake it up a lot. Congrats on finding a good swap.

Hey man are you going to Goodguys next weekend? I am headed to the valley of the scumdevils and would like to meet up with some of the board members? Maybe JEBB and some of the other valley guys? We never got to meet up in Flagstaff, so I'll come down!? I put a post in the regoional requesting a get together!? You interested? I'd like to meet some of the badAZ guys.
