something new broke on the truck
so i decided i wanted to drive the truck back from lunch to work. drive it for like 5 minutes and decide not to.
get back home and decide to pop the hood and make sure everything is alright, i see a big wet area on the drivers side inner fender. my brakes are leaking, where the master cylinder and booster meet. WONDERFUL |

Re: something new broke on the truck
I hate when that happens. The rear seal on my master cylinder started to leak like 5 minutes after I put my new 454 in there. You know, just in time to mess up a swanky clean engine bay.
The good news is master cylinders are cheap and easy to install.

Re: something new broke on the truck
I just fixed the steel line to the right front wheel. It broke just in the perfect place to spray brake fluid into the fan. You wouldn't believe all the places the fan blew it!

Re: something new broke on the truck
having a heater hose split from the clamp out 6 inches(the one on the intake) on a hard launch can make a hell of a mess too.....good way to get a tail gater off my back too....

Re: something new broke on the truck
was yours HB? Mine's leaking at the hose clamp at the bottom of the canister (hose slips over fitting on canister), that part of the hose is rotted, or appears to be. The hose and clamp are constantly coated with a layer of P/S fluid right after being shut off. I just need to replace that hose, every other hose that i'm yet to replace in the engine bay, and all he belts.
