Any pix/advice/warnings or how to's, to convert a low hump to a high hump.
I am swapping cabs on my 67 4/4 and want the floor to look factory.
As far as I can tell the floors are a little different in the way they are stamped.
Do I cut out the high hump floor and weld it to the low hump floor?
Will the high hump cover bolt flat to the low hump floor?

The high hump bolts to the floor,you need to cut out the low hump by using measurements from the high hump and drill holes for the hump to bolt to in your floor.I was/am in the same situation.

Place the hump in the right spot. Use a sharpy or other marker to outline the high hump and also mark the holes. Pull up the hump and cut inside the bolt circles. There may a crease in the floor(my brother is doing this currently and mentioned the crease).

Make sure you leave enough to support the hump. You can always make the hole bigger but it's hard to make it smaller.

I did the reverse of what you are doing but it worked without a hitch so I thought I would chime in. I put a low hump in my 4x4 cab because I was using a body lift and using the low hump helped avoid transfer case shifter issues.

Here are a bunch of pics I took of the 4x4 high hump next to a low hump cut out of a 2wd. They may or may not be of any interest as you do this job.
