What holds the weatherstripping in place? The kit I got is all rubber, and just slips over the seam/lip, but the front corner falls down everytime I open the door, I would think there are some clips or maybe a metal teeth that would grab that seam/lip??? Any ideas-or do I have to silicone the whole thing in??

I believe you have to glue them in. I used a set out of a s10 and they just push on.

I used S-10 too, for about 3 minutes. My door would NOT close. Did you do anything "special" to make it work? I could see that it was really pinching the stuff between the front of the door and the cab, everywhere else looked like it would be ok? Any tips?

Go to the part store and get weather strip adhesive from 3M. Dont use silicone! They glued on originally. Use masking tape to hold in place till the glue dries.

I agree, just got done doing mine. Did mine in 6" - 8" lenghts at a time. Read the directions on the tube, it helps

I got mine from a junk yard so they were already "broke in" but it was significantly more difficult to close the doors for the first few weeks.

I have brand new ones and that door just would not close! I currently have a crappy push on set off of an old nissan. I;m going to try to hit up a yard this weekend to see if I can get a good "used" set of something "push on."
