Dakota Digital Dash

Does anyone on here have any experience on wiring up a Dakota Digital Dash? I have a 72 GMC JIMMY.

Re: Dakota Digital Dash

I've got one in my 40 Olds coupe, but I'm sure they all wire the same way. It comes with a central box that the you connect the wires from the sensors of the vehicle to (temp, oil, fuel, etc.) and a wire ribbon that connects from the central box to the Dakota dash. Since the GM already has a plug for the dash cluster Dakota may plug straight in.

I know that probably doesn't answer your question, but my Dakota dash took about a day to install, pretty straight forward.

Good luck.

Re: Dakota Digital Dash

Ya might check in the general message board area. The wiring on the trucks, blazers and jimmys are basically the same. I know there are a couple guys that have Dakota Digital in their trucks.
