What an awesome weekend!!
Well, got a lot accomplished this weekend, and scored some killer stuff! Saturday afternoon I decided it was time to quit driving my '67 and start doing some work to the old girl. Shaved the letters on the hood, welded up the holes and primered the bare metal.
Today I scored NOS tail light trim (hockey stick style for 67), and a LH 67 headlight bezel, and...... a near perfect 67/68 core support and grill shell all for $160 from David Passmore (member on here) Thanks again David!! After I got home I started disassembly of my front end: Going to shave the fender emblems and trim holes next, then the antenna, wipers, and clean up the frame. Got lots of work ahead of me!! That's just the start of it all.

Nice score!
I had a half day of no rain, so I didn' get nearly as much done as I'd like. The rain is supposed to stop by Friday. |

Looks like you got some nice deals and man I wish my truck was that nice before I started my fixup. Truck even looks fabulous torn apart.

Re: What an awesome weekend!!
Thanks guys. It's got the typical rust in the rockers and floor pan. After I shave the emblems on the fenders, and put the new core support in, I'll be digging into that. I asked for Efabman's videos for Xmas so I'll have to wait until I get those!

It is good to see your truck again, I miss working on my project. I'll get back on it later this winter. |
