I am Younger/Older than my truck
Next month the 67's are turning the big 4-oh. I'd like to see the breakdown of the age groups here. If you own more than one truck (like me) just pick your favorite driver/project.

Re: I am Younger/Older than my truck
I can't pick my favorite out of my '68 4X4, '71 4X4, or my '71 SS 427 Project Truck. That's kind of like having to pick my favorite child, I have 3 of them also. O.K. I'll pick the Project Truck but as for the kids I plead the 5th.

Re: I am Younger/Older than my truck
I am older than the '67, but not by too much. I remember when these trucks were new, and a neighbor down the street bought a new loaded red '69 C-20.

Re: I am Younger/Older than my truck
Since I am younger than my truck (70) and older than my blazers (72) I picked Same Age. (I'm a 71 model.)

Re: I am Younger/Older than my truck
My '69 has 10 years on me, and I'm faster! But it's only because I'm tearing the motor down that was in it.

Re: I am Younger/Older than my truck
I'm older then mine by 14 years. I'm in way better shape too. The truck needs major surgery. Cancer and heart problems for the old 71. I should just shoot it.

Re: I am Younger/Older than my truck
Same age. We're both a '68 model.
I have tried to locate more information using a VIN# lookup site but it hardly tells me anything other than it's a 68 and it was made in St. Louis, MO. Anybody have a good site I could try to get some better details on it? Thanks! B-dub |
