Blazer/truck Front Clip
ok well i know they are interchangable and i have heard and read lots of differant opinions and views what i am trying to find out is did the 69 bkazer have same front clip as 67 and 68 truck
or was the blazer fron the same from 69-72 i know that gm likes to do that i was woundering if it started there cause the suv seems to always change a year or 2 after the truck except for curent year they change tahoe first then truck

Re: Blazer/truck Front Clip
a 69 is a 69, blazer, sub or truck. the 67-8 only came on a truck or burb cause the blazer wasn't made till 69.

Re: Blazer/truck Front Clip
Yeah, if you see a blazer with a 67/8 front clip, it's been converted with a truck/burb front clip.

Re: Blazer/truck Front Clip
Agree with what's been said so far, alot of people like different looks and
that's why stuff get swapped alot, a friend of mine has a 69 stepside, it has the 71/72 grill on it cause he liked the look better, My GMC Jimmy is one of those converted to a 67/68 pickup / burb nose, and if it had not been done by the PO I would have done it anyway cause I like the look.

Re: Blazer/truck Front Clip
Somewhat related question: I thought I remember reading that you can't just swap the 67/68 hood onto a 69-72, but can you at all? What has to be done to make that happen? Reason I ask is I would love to have the sloping front hood instead of the upright front hood.

Re: Blazer/truck Front Clip
To go from 69-72 you need Hood, Fenders, and Core support from a 67/68.
This of course is on a Chevy, GMC is slightly different animal all together

Re: Blazer/truck Front Clip
LUV, not the whole clip, just the hood. Can that be done easily?
