BB PS Hose-New Part-Just built!!! - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I just had these made...BB PS pressure hose for 68-72 remote canister original correct PS. An old original on top and the new one the bottom.
I couldn't find these anywhere, anymore. The last one I got from another vendor/truck parts guy a couple of years ago was too much money and not that nice. So I had my own made!
The steel tubing is stainless. It looks better and lasts longer---no rust. I could have had the cheaper steel, like the old ones, but why? These are better and still cheaper than the others.

$45 ea + $10 S/H

I have a couple of these done and can get more, if these sell out, but it will take a few weeks. PM if you would like one---PayPal is OK.

Nice!! Is it possible to get them with stainless fittings also instead of the zinc ones? I will need one of these in the spring, Santa is cutting into my truck fund now...

Napa has 'em.

NPS 71531 and NPS 71201. ~$30 for both pressure and return hoses.

OZONA: Are you sure??? Did you really check this before you posted???
NAPA Online doesn't even show a PS hose for the "BB" 396 or 402 in our trucks...and I couldn't find them anywhere.
The numbers you listed show up as the common L6 & 350 that every auto parts store has available.
The BB PS pressure hose is one-of-a-kind...not the same as SB or L6 or any other that I know.

I got a pair of PS hoses for my big block Suburban from NAPA about a month ago.....they do not fit! I was able to make them work by bending,cutting,flaring...you get the idea. Had to do the same a few years back with the hoses for my '69 396 pickup. These hoses have not been available for quite some time and what the parts stores say will fit is a joke. You should not have any trouble selling a lot of these. I'm gonna need two. Let me know when they are available.

Would you be able to have them made with STAINLESS fittings instead of the OEM style plated fittings? All of the other lines in my truck(brake/trans) I ordered with stainless fittings & I would like them to match...

Also, how 'bout the return line???

I hope this is the best way to do this. I hate to go through all the old dialog, but I do have the new ones in again...with new SS return tubes ($20).
