Very newbie saying hello from PA
Hello!
My wife and I have taken possession of a 1973 motor home that's based on a '73 Chevy C-30 (we're picking it up on the 23rd, actually). We got the motor home for free, and it's really showing it's age. It's my new project vehicle (actually, my first-ever project vehicle). I'm hoping to refurbish it inside and out, along with engine, drivetrain, and suspension, if needed. I've never owned a truck, and never owned anything that wasn't computer controlled, so some one on another board sent me here for advice and to learn. I'm sure to ask some very stupid questions in the future. I have decent experience with cars - I've owned Trans Ams or Firebirds almost my whole driving life - but am unfamiliar with trucks. Hopefully you guys can help me out when I run across something unfamiliar. Whenever I pictured myself restoring a '73 Chevy, I did not have a motor home in mind, but family hadn't happened then yet either. It'll be fun nonetheless. I'm looking forward to learning paint, body and engine work. See ya around, Dave M |

Wow...sounds like 2 or 3 projects in one. Not only a truck resto, but a house remodel too!
Great luck with your project. Old motor homes are super cool, and definately not a dime a dozen. Welcome from Wallburg, NC.
