I have to replace the motor mounts in the truck and I was looking and found urethane and rubber. Which is better to use?

Well, i do agree.....urathane is best.....but the mount shown will not fit your truck! crazyL

These are the ones you would want for a small block V8. They are also available in black. Too much money for me at $68. Yea, I'm a cheap bass-turd.

I'll be darned if they don't look like the right mounts for a SB V8. Sorry. I looked at some poly mounts a few years ago made by PST, I think, and now I can't find the company name anywhere on the internet???????

Maybe they are the same? Does anyone know if the 250 and the small block use the same motor mounts?

I was pretty sure they were the same, I checked NAPA and they list the 250, 292, 307 and 350 as using the same mount, 8 bucks each.

Skokie, the mounts you show are for a car, but the ones that Sweet 72 show, are the proper mounts for thr truck. I 6 & SB are the same on the truck mounts......crazyL

Thanks for the link to the P-S-T website st1x10! BTW, I believe some of the Poly mounts have interlocking steel cores so if the poly tears or separates the mount won't come loose completely. Ive heard horror stories of vehicles with throttle linkage (not cable like my '72) going WOT when a motor mount breaks.
